Amanda J. McCracken Raber is an attorney with the law firm Bennington Law Firm, LLC. With a background in family law, Amanda’s practice spans all aspects of family law, including divorce, equitable distribution, custody and support. Amanda also negotiates and drafts prenuptial, postnuptial and marriage settlement agreements. Additionally, Amanda has expanded her practice to include all areas of Probate and Trust law, including estate planning, estate administration and Orphans’ Court litigation.
After graduating from Point Park University magna cum laude in 2004, Amanda went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 2011, graduating 10th in her class. During her law school tenure, Amanda was the Executive Recent Decisions Editor of the Duquesne Law Review and won the prestigious CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Estate Planning, given to the student with the highest grade in the class.
Amanda was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2014 through 2016 and 2018. She has written case notes for the Pennsylvania Family Lawyer, has prepared materials for the Allegheny County Bench-Bar Conference and wrote the Support Case Law Updates for and participated on the panel at the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section Summer Meeting in Cambridge, Maryland.
Amanda began her career as a paralegal in 2001, concentrating in matters of family law.
